Departure of the Lifegiver

Durhus is a world ruined by its own people. They brought upon themselves four terrible Scourges.

The Barren Scourge is the embodiment of despair and sterility for humanity.
In the final act of the Devastation, the Lifegiver departed from Durhus, and since that day, the world has been slowly dying.

During its manifestation, nature fades further into grey, and all growth ceases. No new life can be conceived, while humans, animals, and plants appear prematurely aged.

Sometimes, the cruel nature of the Scourge allows mothers to conceive, only for their newborns to take both their first and last breaths upon birth.
